World of Warcraft part 02: Crafting

Now that I'm out of the beginner part of Wow, Northshire Abbey, I moved on to Elwynn Forest.

Now, Elwynn has change some since I started playing. There is a flight path to and from the capital city Stormwind (abbreviated in game as SW). Now the quests in Elwynn can be difficult so beware.

First thing you'll want to do is get a mining profession (herbalism, skinning, mining) once you do that gather up a stack of whatever it is you chose. Let's say you choose mining (like I have) You would get copper ore that you can turn into copper bars. Once you do that head over to SW and go to the Auction house (abbreviated AH). While there shift click the copper bars and click search. Now that you know how much copper bars are going for (look for a stack, or 20) undercut the person so your sells first.

For example, when I did this Copper bars were selling for 20 gold at sellout price. I pitched mine at 18 so I should get dibs.

Once that's done continue to mine/skin/pick herbs to level your profession. Once you've reached level 5/6 you can do the first mine quest. You will want to get to level 8/9 in order to do the Jasperlode mine and the elwynn forest quests. Once done you can move on.

Additionally, if you should level your cooking to 50 or so. First go to a regular tradesmen seller. Buy simple flour and mild spices, to the tune of 35 each. Make all that and then head over to a farm and slaughter yourself some pigs. Keep doing so until you get about a stack of chunk of boar meat and then cook them. Repeat this until you get to cooking level 50.

The rest of Elwynn is to come, next time.
